Tattoo Policies

Rates

Hello! The following policies regarding deposits, rates, rescheduling, designs, and tattoo space are in place to protect myself as a freelance artist and to respect both my time and yours. Below, I provide detailed information to ensure transparency for every client.

My goal is to create a respectful and safe environment for everyone interested in getting tattooed by me. Based on past experiences, these policies help set healthy boundaries and prevent “no-shows.” Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions—my DMs are always open for inquiries, just not for direct bookings!

My pricing is typically "per piece," which factors in the drawing process, tattooing time, size, and placement. During your consultation, I’ll provide a price range based on your tattoo description, size, and placement. During the session, I will print out different sizes of stencils with prices labeled on, so you can choose what works best for you.

Most of my flash designs range from $100 to $700 for small to medium-sized pieces.

DEPOSIT - $100-300 NON-REFUNDABLE reserves your design& appt time!

B&W FLASH - $100-$400+ depends on size, shading, detail

COLOR FLASH - $150 to $800+ (color work takes more time)

LARGE FLASH (7 + inches) - $700 to $1200+

FLAT-DAY RATE - This is for large pieces (One or multiple sessions) - starting at ~$1000-$1500 per day (1-2 Hours of drawing time) + (4-5 hours of tattooing time)

PLACEMENT - For placements on the ribs, sternum, torso, & buttock area usually take longer, which usually may increase the quote. EXAMPLE— Skin needs to stretched out when tattooing. A 3-inch piece on the ribs will be stretched when tattooed and will be around 5-6 inches, and so takes more time.

FLASH EDITS - additional $10-30+ depending on the edits

Designs

Pricing for each piece varies depending on the size, color, and placement. A basic black-lined piece takes the least amount of time, while those with more shading or color require additional time and materials.

  • Small & Simple Pieces: Appointments for small, simple pieces take about 1 hour and typically cost around $100-$200 (my minimum rate).

  • Small to Medium Pieces: These usually take 1.5-2.5 hours, with prices ranging from $200-$450+.

  • Larger Pieces or Multiple Pieces: These can take around 5 hours, and you can book my DAY RATE of $1000-$1500 for larger projects that require multiple sessions.

FLASH: All available flash designs are pre-drawn pieces posted on my Instagram @lab.inkdesigns. Sold designs will be marked as "Sold" in the comments. Some flash designs are repeatable and will be labeled as such. I'm also open to creating custom pieces if you're interested in a design that's already been sold.

FLASH EDITS: If you'd like to change the color, add color, or make minor design changes, this is considered a Flash Edit. Edits should maintain the integrity of the original design. There will be an additional fee of $15-$40+ depending on the final edited design.
